In this blog I walk you through my Notion dashboard. Simple yet comprehensive productivity set up.

My Notion Workspace is my second Brain. I have everything on to my Notion. Be it my habit tracker, repository, work documents, budgeting I use Notion. I have been fond of another tool called Coda for a while but Notion has been my only go-to tool. Let’s dive a bit deeper into how I use Notion.

‍

I once had literally all my Notion pages just as is. Was it easier to access? Yes, indeed. But it looked clumsy. So I have now categorised the overall files into a 4 categories.

1. Projects - Projects page have some new blogs and templates that I am currently working on. I use a repository like system for this page. Here is how it looks and also a sneak peek of what is upcoming πŸ‘€ (I’m nervous but it’s okay I guess πŸ™†πŸ»β™€οΈ)

2. My Year 2022 - I have categorised 2022 by different quarters like Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 and each quarter has its months and each month page has the following

  • Expenses Sheet
  • Habit Tracker
  • Calendar
  • Journal

I mostly use inbuilt free templates for the Calendar and Journal. Butttt I have created my own expenses tracking sheet. I have been testing the sheet for the past 5 months (LITERALLY). Once it is approved by a lousy spender like me, I will share this template with y’all πŸ’Œ.

I have been using habit tracker template by Taylor Milliman.

Getting your actions together is the reason why we want to get organised and have a central system. His FREE habit tracker template by Taylor Milliman is easy to track your progress throughout the week.

The template gives an high-level perspective at the end of the month of how well I am doing. I have found no complications. It is very easy to add your regular habits and start tracking them.

3. Meal and Cooking plan - One might ask, why am I not having this part of the monthly plan. The simple answer is, it works well for me this way (At least for now πŸ˜›).

A good meal planner template is when you can have a Recipe Database, Inventory Tracking and a weekly view. This Meal Planner Notion Template by Easlo has the below features.

βœ“ Weekly Plan

βœ“ Calendar View

βœ“ Recipe Database

βœ“ Collections for Recipes

βœ“ Inventory Tracking

βœ“ Sort by Course, Tags or Ratings

I recommend adding another column to the inventory for price. So, it will get easier for you to estimate your shopping budget for the month.

The template is very simple, neat, easy to understand and very minimal customisation is required.
