What is marketing project management
Marketing project management is an umbrella term for all of these tasks. The process can be pretty simple and can get complicated; it involves planning, producing, and overseeing any number of marketing-related projects. Marketing projects include social media marketing, email marketing, blogging, advertising or public relations etc. The marketing team does not just create new content but, along with marketing content creation, are planning efforts that help direct team members in their work on a given project. Project managers must keep all involved parties productive while ensuring that all tasks are executed as scheduled. A good marketing project manager will streamline the process to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
How to find the right tool
To manage projects effectively, you must have the right tool. Something actionable, easy to use, easy to onboard new team members, organise all campaigns, track tasks, communicate with the team, and have all the contents in one place.
The word “RIGHT TOOL” can be very subjective.
In today’s digital age, finding new technology or software solutions is a cinch—so much so that it can actually make things more difficult. It can be challenging to sift through these solutions, test them out, and make sure they don’t conflict. In addition, since every business is different, marketing project management can be a challenge because there’s no one size fits all solution.
To me, the right tool means “HAVING EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE”.
